Roles in Involvement
The Involvement Matrix ('Participatiematrix') is a practical tool for both clients and project leaders that can clarify the roles in different phases of a project. Videos show how discussing these roles with each other improves collaboration.
After completing this online module, you will have learned:
- Why it is important to plan the possible roles at every stage of a project;
- In which contexts (healthcare or research) the different roles can be applied;
- What the key considerations are for each role, both for the patient/client and for the researcher or policymaker.

- Filling in the Involvement Matrix ('Participatiematrix').
This module is intended for anyone working on patient involvement in healthcare, education, policymaking and research. The content of this module is entirely in English.
